DAY TWO… 64 miles (102.5 km)

We left the campsite and discovered almond croissants to die for. We continued along greenways and stopped to eat our croissants at a little campsite at St. Ley. Here were able to use the facilities.

We cycled on along the Nantes Brest canal and spotted tiny otters in the nearby river and hares. Stopped for lunch at Maelstom and spread out the tents to dry. They were soaked with dew from the morning and had to be packed wet.

Old town centre of Redon

Cycled on to Redon and our campsite. There was a rather rough feeling to this city. The campsite was not only locked but had been vandalised. We broke in but there was no way to get water or use the toilets. Tim bought a bottle of water to see us through. It was a beautiful sunny evening but cold night.
