DAY NINE… 45.5 miles (73 km)

A good night. The “orange boys”, some laddish cyclists that have been following in our tracks, turned up and were a bit rowdy, but did not really bother my sleep.

We woke to DRY tents. Although it did rain, we were sheltered by trees and did not get a spot. Today was a bit cloudy, but the sun was breaking through by 11.30am.

Blue skies… at last

We bought a little plastic bowl, for washing, for our wild camping exploits. Arrived at the campsite having not found any wild camping spots. The site had no tents in it, a great sign, and is only €5 with showers loos and bins, so we decided to stay and then cycle on to Passau tomorrow and on to a campsite that Tim has been to before.

For map lovers, here is the actual Garmin GPX route….
