DAY SIX… 47.25 miles (75.5 km)
We are back on the road and we’ve flown along for the first 15miles, leaving at 7.15am, and getting to our first stop around 9am. The wind is up now and we are heading straight into it.

The wind was relentlessly against us until 3pm when we found a garage and sheltered for lunch; bread, sardines (from home) and yoghourt (as either no cheese available or we couldn’t make ourselves understood in the tiny shop). Our garage stop must have been the worst ever stop, but we were happy to sit and we have a table too.

We found an amazing wild spot in the mountains to camp, but the wind was very cold and we were very chilled by 8pm, so, after a supper of burnt rice, and burnt eggs, but piles of vegetables, we went to bed.
